Laavanya Institute of Dance Arts (LIOTAS), founded in 2008 by Guru Smt Shaashi Bala Ramesh, is a premier institute dedicated to the disciplined training and promotion of Indian classical dance and music. With a strong commitment to artistic excellence, LIOTAS offers comprehensive instruction in Bharatanatyam, Odissi, Kathak, Tabla, and Hindustani Vocal music.

Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to combine the rich traditions of the Guru-Shishya parampara with modern teaching methodologies, making classical training both accessible and transformative.
We are proudly affiliated with the Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal (A.B.G.M.V.M), one of India’s most prestigious bodies for classical arts education. LIOTAS also serves as an official examination centre for A.B.G.M.V.M right here in Vidyavihar west, enabling students to pursue certified courses and appear for examinations in both music and dance through our institute.
Under the artistic direction of Smt. Shaashi and her team of experienced instructors, students receive personalized mentorship, opportunities to perform, and support in preparing for Arangetram,Rangamanch, competitions, T.V. shows, School Annual programs and other advanced milestones in their artistic journey.
